The magic lies in things that aren't said, but felt

HERALD-TIMES THEATER REVIEW: 'SOUVENIR'
The magic lies in things that aren't said, but felt

Voces Novae is proud to have two stars in this Cardinal Stage production of Souvenir, the story of Florence Foster Jenkins (a.k.a the Diva of Din).

Artistic director Sue Swaney portrays Jenkins, "a hysterical study in controlled choral carnage. She leaves us wondering, 'My God can she really sing this badly for two weeks without seriously damaging her voice?'" We hope so!

Voces Novae singer Alexandra Morphet's costumes designs for Florence "are unquestionably the third character on stage. They beautifully frame the whimsy of a woman who is equal parts New York society matron, doddering crank and musical savant."

Kudos and congratulations to Sue and Alexandra!
